Starting in Kristiansund, you must jump on the bus. The bus has its own bike racks and after only 10 minutes through the Atlantic tunnel you reach the island Averøy. The trip is a total of  60 km long, but you can start or stop earlier if you do not want to ride so far. The goal for the first leg is Karvåg - which is the start of Atlantic Road.
The Atlantic road is a  8 km stretch of road that winds its way from island to island, connected by eight bridges.
There can be some heavy traffic during the peak season and the trip is not really suitable for the youngest children to ride alone. The trip is beautiful and scenic. The most spectacular bridge is Storseisundbrua.
At the restaurant Bjartmars Kro serving local and tasty food. Håholmen is also an attraction you should take the time to visit, in summer there are departures every hour to the beautiful Håholmen. Experience the Viking story of the norwegian adventurer Ragnar Torseth at the Saga Siglar hall. You can also stop for other activities if you have time: Strømsholmen Diving Centre offers in the summer fishing trips, diving trips and seal safaris. Sveggvika offers activities such as kayak several times a day during the summer. If you want to go fishing on your own, you can safely try your luck standing on the fishing bridges on the Atlantic Road.
Furthermore, the trip from Vevang to Farstad. Take a detour on Farstad coastal path - which if possible is even more spectacular than the Atlantic Road.
The path is six kilometers of lovely and hilly landscaped with beatuiful view over the sea

The last bit is easy cycle to the fishing village of Bud, has been named after the fishermanthe, charming and worth a stop.
Have a good and adventurous ride!
